Blaise Redstone

B. December 22nd, 1582

Guardian: Carlos

The first born of Aristar and Johan's children. He is a fire master. He was married at the age of eighteen, and had one son from that union. His wife left him when he gained his first pact not long after the birth of their child, too afraid of becoming the wife of something she deemed as unnatural.

Nowadays Blaise trains hard to become the next Head of the Redstone famly after his father. He lives in Dulcedomum, and helps train the new apprentices about the fire element. He is upfront, studious and serious because of this, but underneath it all has a more childlike side that he rarely feels he can show.

Chesna Redstone

B. March 27th, 1600

Guardian: None

The second born of Aristar and Johan's children, she is a water master with a talent for brewing potions, much like her paternal grandmother. She's particularly easy going, so much she's deemed as lazy, though she has a deep need to watch over her descendants and keep them all safe, much like her father. (Even if she doesn't like to admit she's like him. At all.)

As a young girl, however, she was much like most girls who were spoiled by their "daddies" and she had two to boot. Dressed up like her sisters, she enjoyed teasing boys wherever they lived, before mysteriously being gone the following day.

After she nearly drowned and gained her first spirit, Chesna met with a sailor who managed to woo her young heart. The relationship ended in heartbreak, however, and with Chesna with child. Her son never became a Wizard or Guardian, however, and instead tried to live a normal life for him and his magic using children, creating a rift between him and Chesna. After his death, Chesna took in his children and taught them of their family legacy. Two of her grandchildren, Diya and Faven, were among these children. Now she is content to living in her parent's home, teaching apprentices in the water wing how to master the element.

She's been reluctant to date or even take in a guardian.

Gleda Redstone

B. March 14, 1603

Guardian: None

The third born of Aristar and Johan's children. Gleda is a wind master. Never married, she travels the globe, refusing to be tied down. She has the most children of all of the first generation, though most of them have been raised by Aris and Johan.

Most known of her children to the apprentices is Atkah, the home healer. Gleda is flighty and rather selfish, preferring to pursue her own interests rather than serving the needs of the family.

Eveline Redstone (Not shown)

B. June 17th, 1605

Born the fourth child of Aristar and Johan, she never made it past the age of four years.

Kishi Redstone

b. January 31, 1610

Guardian: Yoshiteru

The fifth child, with a base element of earth, he is, like his siblings, a master. He is one of the most easy-going of the children, enjoying spending time with his family and tending the crops and livestock when he is home. He slept around a bit in his youth, producing a son, Vincent.

In 1748, he left the house and struck out on his own for a time, but was captured by the Knights. Realizing what a prize they had found, they kept him alive to attempt to extract information rather than executing him outright. The family managed to rescue him, but the damage to his arm was beyond the repair of light spirits. Over the years he has mastered a spell that grants him a limb of stone or wood, depending on what is nearby.

He tends to settle and farm, with occasional visits to the house.

Jack Redstone

B. July 1, 1614

Guardian: Charlotte Redstone

The sixth born between Aristar and Johan, and twin to Adam Redstone, whom was killed by the Tainted long ago. An outgoing fire master, he mainly focused on increasing his abilities while having fun, during his younger years. He only married due to impregnating his first wife Eleanor, at the age of sixteen. Knights found Eleanor while she was outside the grounds of Dulcedomum. They attacked her, as they were suspicious of the enchanted emblem she wore that Jack gave to her as a gift. While Jack did come to ward off the knights, he still lost Eleanor to a fatal wound. This loss ultimately effected Jack so much that he became intent on the idea that he'd never remarry. He raised their son, Martin, to adulthood as a single father. It wasn't until Martin finally made his own pact and left the 'nest' that Jack realized how lonely he was.

Jack found himself visiting Dulcedomum more frequently, not only to visit his relatives, but to speak with the apprentice guardian Charlotte Vintage. They were just recently married and now have two twins: Alice and Benjamin Redstone. They were going to have more, but unfortunately the last one was a stillborn. They buried him with the name 'Henry Redstone'.

Currently, Jack works as a baseball coach for a college while raising his two five year olds, in New York.

The seventh born, and a water user. Jack's identical twin, he was killed by the Tainted many years ago.

Sasha Redstone

B: July 10, 1647

Guardian: Hans

The eighth born of Aristar and Johan's children. A clumsy, silly, wind master. A bit of an airhead. She had a daughter named Meadow with her husband, who died in a freak carriage accident. She boards show horses for a living in Texas, USA on her ranch.

She's surprisingly good at raising the animals, but tends to go to her father for financial advice. Hans is often times guarding Sasha from herself more than actual Shadows or Knights, and rarely allows her to use any of the more deadly farm equipment after nearly losing his own limbs one too many times to her tendency to space out.

Artus Redstone

B. January 2nd, 1671

Guardian: None

The ninth born of Aristar and Johan's children. His base element is light. Artus has always seen himself as someone with an "open mind". So unlike most of his family, he embraced humanity's increasing technological advances and became interested in partaking of them, even when Knights were steadily using them to their advantage in hunting Wizards.

Thinking himself invunerable, he hacked into their computer systems many a time and plundered their plans, growing cocky when they, time and time again, failed to find him. Unfortunately his cockiness allowed him to sell himself short and it proved fatal- the woman he had been seeing was found and killed when she refused to give information on his whereabouts.

Artus is more careful and calculated these days, especially with his one and only son to raise. He uses his methods to help Robin and Hugo head the Scouts, a branch he and his younger siblings watch over for their father.

Hugo Redstone

B. April 6th, 1694

Guardian: None

The tenth born of Aristar and Johan's children. His base element is earth. Hugo was born and grew up fairly small and scrawny for a good time, and admired his older brother Artus for his confidence, and wanted to help him. Of course, seeing how his mother helped his father so much in being his guardian, Hugo was convinced this was the best path to take. He followed his mother out into training in becoming a guardian, growing stronger under Johan's tutelage. But of course the magic in his blood came to be when he made a pact with a spirit, and he became a wizard, rather than the guardian he intended to be. Of course this doesn't mean he can't watch over his brother, and while they aren't under a pact, he still aids him and their younger sister, Robin, in training the Scouts.

Hugo is married to a woman named Ann, and has had two sons (now full grown) with her: Remy and Nino. If he isn't visiting a local bar or tavern, he works at heavy lifting jobs. Currently he watches over one of his descendants who works at a store unloading truck merchandise for his worried mother. The boy doesn't know about his ancestors, but sees Hugo as a big lug who likes to listen to him.

Fionna Barlow (Redstone)

B. August 9th, 1706

Guardian: Atticus Barlow

The eleventh child of Johan and Aristar Redstone, Fionna is a fire master who has always had a flare for gems and all things pretty. Dressing up and showing off are among her favorite hobbies, and leaves her vain and snooty.

But her looks managed to attract one of the Guardians in training, who thought himself sneaky and attempted to woo her with his riches and powers behind her parent's backs. Fionna was amused by it, and of course entranced by the gifts he got her, but didn't accept his proposal until the engagement ring was just -perfect-. Of course by then her parents revealed they'd known about his courting and while he was afraid he'd be tossed out the house, they only shrugged it off.

After their wedding the two made a pact and have lived a life of secretive luxury, away from many, including her family, though she does visit on occasion when her parents ask it of her or when she feels she can help out with her (admittedly running low) supply of money. The two had one child, a son named Sinclair, as Fionna couldn't bear to risk her girlish figure with anymore than that.

Icarus and Jezabel Redstone

B. February 13th, 1739

The twelth and thirteenth born of Johan and Aristar Redstone, the twins are earth masters and have always been together. Always. They have always enjoyed adventure, the outdoors, scaring the daylights out of people, finishing eachother's sentences, and collecting rare and elusive items. Their personalities are mostly a mystery, aside from their need to cause mischief.

Somehow the two managed to create a transporting building, much like Dulcedomum. They use it to travel the world, collecting their wares, and selling it among the apprentices of their parent's "school". "Taking advantage of your need to fill our quota." Is one of their favorite sayings.

Neither have married nor have children. The last one to try and get in between this loving sibling relationship ran away from Dulcedomum and was never heard of again.

Jim Redstone

B. October 30th, 1774

Guardian: Rasputin Berezin

The fourteenth born of Johan and Aristar Redstone, Jim has always been their...curious son. So curious, in fact, that none of their other children have had their stomaches pumped so many times. He's eaten at least everything poisonous he could get his grubby hands on. How he's survived past infancy, even Johan and Aris are unsure.

When he became a water Master, Jim was so sure he would become the instructor for the future apprentices to come to Dulcedomum. Unfortunately, for him, they chose his eldest sister, Chesna instead. Just because she knew how to make potions beyond poisons?! Blasphemy! He was far more creative!

Jim has set up that curiosity and creativity to good use, holding jobs such as being a dentist, a doctor, a vet, and, currently, a chemistry teacher. He met a woman who didn't seem at all frightened by his crazy schemes, and instead, produced a daughter with him, Wendy. Yes, somehow Jim became a daddy. Miracles do happen.

Nora McTiger (Redstone)

B. April 4th, 1775

Guardian: Elliot McTiger

The fifteenth born of Johan and Aristar Redstone, Nora is a light master and a motherly, doting soul. She was always tiny, especially among her much larger brothers, and felt looked down upon for most of her life. But rather than becoming meek, Nora's temper would often flare up if she'd gone unnoticed, and forced her voice to be heard.

From a young age Nora enjoyed food, and cooking took away work from her tired parents, and made them happy. She was more than pleased to help and see everyone fed and healthy. Even her brother, Terrance, who enjoyed teasing her and summoning up her wrath.

Unlike her voluptuous sisters, Nora's larger frame never allowed her much of self esteem, and she never strayed out to meet anyone. Until a man named Elliot McTiger, who was training to become a Guardian, came by, asking "who had made that cake last night," and that it was "just like how mama used to make it."

Nora was more than happy to bake it for him again and again, and found herself falling for the charming, good looking youth, though she never dared to dream he'd ever return those affections.

He did, and they've been happily married, and had several daughters and a single son from the union.

Preston Redstone

B. September 23, 1780

Guardian: Edith Vansberk

The sixteenth son between Aristar and Johan, and a wind master. Preston seems to be always aloof, and in his own little world. He doesn't get angry often, and if he is, it's rather difficult to tell. Most of the time the man is singing or traveling. In fact, singing had become such an important aspect to his life, that over the centuries, Preston has become infamous for his singing. But always managed to evade capture by Knights by faking his own death, only to reemerge onto the scene with a new look, and a new voice. One of Preston's magical abilities can alter his voice and since wizards live for such a long time, Preston likes to jump from different genres.

Currently he is a country pop star singer that married his producer and guardian, Edith Vansberk. They have four children, three of which are spirit born: Sam, Leo, and Grace. Their only child that was physically conceived, which was highly unexpected due to Prestone's low fertility, was their youngest: Alicia.

Terrance Redstone

B. August 15th, 1782

Guardian: Jocelyn Winters

The seventeenth child of Aristar and Johan. His base element is fire. Terrance has a teasing rivalry with Nora, and loves to push her buttons. He also has a daughter named Scarlet, followed by many, many sons, all with different women. Thinks of himself as a playboy, he never settled down. His guardian, Jocelyn, was sent by his parents as a personal mission to watch over him. Knowing her pushy nature would keep him in line, they saw the union as a perfect fit. They were right, and the two eventually made a pact "for beneficial reasons" as Terrance put it. Mostly because he liked having a sassy girl save his ass from sharp pointy things. And she has done so, many, many times. Though...she still refuses his offers to sleep with him, much to his chagrin.

Now a days he works as a travel agent that sells timeshares. Whether his business is all legal is highly up for debate.

Robin Redstone

B. May 22, 1790

Guardian: Inga Malykhin

The eighteenth child of Aristar and Johan, and an earth master. Smart and shy, she was always quietly in the garden or the library. Rather than spending the most time with the siblings closest to her in age, she formed the closest connection with Artus and Hugo, who allowed their tiny sister to follow them freely. Through research and experimentation with an eye toward what the family needed most, she developed the system that forms the backbone of the Scouts.

She has two daughters, Guinevere and Laurana, with her guardian, Inga, a strong woman Robin met in Russia. Inga is loud and has a demanding presence that often helps the smaller, quieter Wizard. Robin often goes overlooked, particularly when compared to some of her more flamboyant or outgoing siblings, and she prefers it that way.

Bailey Redstone

B. November 11, 1832

Guardian: Benjamin Redstone

The nineteenth born, Bailey’s base element is water. Born into Victorian times, Bailey chafed at the expectation of propriety and quiet obedience that was expected of her by society. She loved to be active and compete, and often dressed as a boy to indulge her interests. She met Benjamin when they got into a fist fight and she destroyed him. When his angry parents discovered she was a girl, they were furious and tried to seek out her parents, leading to a house shift not long after. She and Benjamin met again later in life and, to their mutual surprise, they got along very well. Bailey, ever bossy, dragged him around until they found a patron for him and then had him trained until he was deemed worthy of being her guardian. They have two children together: Phillip and Lillian. Their third born, Thomas, passed away sometime ago with his partner.

These days the pair enjoy attending sports events and getting into fights with strangers on game days.

Samuel Redstone

B. April 7th, 1880

Guardian: Max Garret

The twentieth and last born of Aristar and Johan's children. Samuel was born sickly and paralyzed in his legs. Unfortunately the medicine of those days, nor any magic his parents held, could allow him to walk. Samuel was kept inside and doted on instead, his father taking plenty of time out of his busy schedule to keep him company.

Samuel grew up sheltered, and jealous of the magic his family could perform, worried he would never be able to become a Wizard like his heritage dictated. Time and time again, he would be set out with his parents to make pacts, and ultimately fail due to no spirits desiring a pact with him, some even calling him weak.

Eventually time would reach his favor, and though he had aged significantly, a chance meeting with a young boy would allow him to meet and make a pact with a wind spirit. The boy in turn would grow up and become his guardian.

Nowadays, Sam is the Wind instructor, helping his parents teach all apprentices with a wind spirit how to master the element. He has had no children.

Their only child that was physically conceived, which was highly unexpected due to Prestone's low fertility, was their youngest: Alicia.

Terrance Redstone

B. August 15th, 1782

Guardian: Jocelyn Winters

The seventeenth child of Aristar and Johan. His base element is fire. Terrance has a teasing rivalry with Nora, and loves to push her buttons. He also has a daughter named Scarlet, followed by many, many sons, all with different women. Thinks of himself as a playboy, he never settled down. His guardian, Jocelyn, was sent by his parents as a personal mission to watch over him. Knowing her pushy nature would keep him in line, they saw the union as a perfect fit. They were right, and the two eventually made a pact "for beneficial reasons" as Terrance put it. Mostly because he liked having a sassy girl save his ass from sharp pointy things. And she has done so, many, many times. Though...she still refuses his offers to sleep with him, much to his chagrin.

Now a days he works as a travel agent that sells timeshares. Whether his business is all legal is highly up for debate.

Robin Redstone

B. May 22, 1790

Guardian: Inga Malykhin

The eighteenth child of Aristar and Johan, and an earth master. Smart and shy, she was always quietly in the garden or the library. Rather than spending the most time with the siblings closest to her in age, she formed the closest connection with Artus and Hugo, who allowed their tiny sister to follow them freely. Through research and experimentation with an eye toward what the family needed most, she developed the system that forms the backbone of the Scouts.

She has two daughters, Guinevere and Laurana, with her guardian, Inga, a strong woman Robin met in Russia. Inga is loud and has a demanding presence that often helps the smaller, quieter Wizard. Robin often goes overlooked, particularly when compared to some of her more flamboyant or outgoing siblings, and she prefers it that way.

Bailey Redstone

B. November 11, 1832

Guardian: Benjamin Redstone

The nineteenth born, Bailey’s base element is water. Born into Victorian times, Bailey chafed at the expectation of propriety and quiet obedience that was expected of her by society. She loved to be active and compete, and often dressed as a boy to indulge her interests. She met Benjamin when they got into a fist fight and she destroyed him. When his angry parents discovered she was a girl, they were furious and tried to seek out her parents, leading to a house shift not long after. She and Benjamin met again later in life and, to their mutual surprise, they got along very well. Bailey, ever bossy, dragged him around until they found a patron for him and then had him trained until he was deemed worthy of being her guardian. They have two children together: Phillip and Lillian. Their third born, Thomas, passed away sometime ago with his partner.

These days the pair enjoy attending sports events and getting into fights with strangers on game days.

Samuel Redstone

B. April 7th, 1880

Guardian: Max Garret

The twentieth and last born of Aristar and Johan's children. Samuel was born sickly and paralyzed in his legs. Unfortunately the medicine of those days, nor any magic his parents held, could allow him to walk. Samuel was kept inside and doted on instead, his father taking plenty of time out of his busy schedule to keep him company.

Samuel grew up sheltered, and jealous of the magic his family could perform, worried he would never be able to become a Wizard like his heritage dictated. Time and time again, he would be set out with his parents to make pacts, and ultimately fail due to no spirits desiring a pact with him, some even calling him weak.

Eventually time would reach his favor, and though he had aged significantly, a chance meeting with a young boy would allow him to meet and make a pact with a wind spirit. The boy in turn would grow up and become his guardian.

Nowadays, Sam is the Wind instructor, helping his parents teach all apprentices with a wind spirit how to master the element. He has had no children.
