Fifth in our line of Star Trek alien self portraits: CardassianOh man super happy with this one. She’s so cute.
In Cardassian society females dominate the sciences so it only makes sense that Gelora is an environmental geologist. She gets excited over rocks and guess what so do I so it’s perfect. She reviews the earth of any given world and its relationship with development and the sapients living on it. Good times.
I’m sure she’s in on a lot of colonization missions, reviewing worlds for what areas would be good for settlement, where certain minerals and materials can be mined, that sort of thing, as well as helping review planets that are already settled. You know, go where ever she may be needed basically.
I really like drawing Cardassians, I love all their face and neck ridges and their pale skin and dark hair and their whole culture, what lil shits, I love Cardassians. ( >∀< )

Well, and to be fair I was just looking for a type of rock with easily found reference images that was also a bit lesser known by the general public; so heck. xD

For some reason, I get kind of a Rosie the Riveter vibe from her. I think it's the combination of the build, the occupation, and the enthusiasm. (Though she seems happier than Rosie, who is just tough.)
And while we have never seen Cardassians in short sleeves before, your clothing design is great here, and I could really believe her wearing this, in an occupation like this.

Hm, yeah, I could see that with the pose and everything! :3 And not a bad correlation to make, since Rosie's a swell gal. ^^
Haha... yeah and I mean I know why they ended up always giving them long sleeves when we saw them in shows (bit too much skin to cover in makeup and all) but obviously I figured is Cardassians were a real people they'd have more diverse clothing options. xD Sleeves can get in the way so why not show some skin!
