Hello,I've been planning to do this for a while. It's a sketch of my own Mechagodzilla rendition that I've worked on for a month. What I tried to aim for is a preservation of the original Showa version of the character and at the same time, update him by giving an HR Giger-esque vibe to the design.
Additionally all Kaiju fans know that ever since the Heisei series came along, the character has always been a weapon built by humans to defend Japan and the rest of mankind against invading monsters. However, this Mechagodzilla will revert back to the roots, being a sinister killing machine used a tool by the spacemen from the Third Planet of the Black Hole for world conquest.
This incarnation is constructed of nanotechnology, meaning that he can self-repair.

i enjoy how detailed it is first of all. Second i dig how alien and brutal it looks too. Great remake of a classic bro!

So incredibly intricate! The full view doesn't do all those tiny little lines justice...
It looks as if you have scanned some lineart and then coloured in digitally, is that right?
I have two suggestions for you--some of the parts don't seem to be from the same angle, or fitting together correctly into the joints: the jaw, the legs. I would suggest doing a rough sketch with connecting centre lines to ensure an...organic flow (oh the irony)
Also, you have a strong technique already, you might benefit from starting to add some weight to your lines. So parts like his left leg would have slightly heavier lines, as it is closer. It will add more depth to your work, and really define the lineart. Some examples:

You know what I didn't get with MechaGodzilla II-Tokyo S.O.S?
Why would the humans make a robot Godzilla to fight Godzilla? How could they even do it?

Awesome. I loved the original MechaGodzilla...Though in my opinion MechaGodzilla has been starting to look more ogranic. I can't wait for a Toho movie where MechaGodzilla was made from the body of a dead Godzilla.

Yeah, but what I was thinking, instead of just machine framed around bone, the monster being half machine and half organic Godzilla tissue, looking kind of similar in the first G Vs. MG when MG still has the fake godzilla disguise on but pieces are blown off.
