Hello again, 'Bots and 'Cons.This here is 's great sketch, [link]
I'm grateful he let me color it.
Sort of frappuccino-colored, textured cardstock, markers, and yes, some colored-pencil fudging.
I struggled with this one. Everyone at Art Night likes it, but I wanted it to be... more, somehow. The sketch has got this great angle and action, and I don't think my colors have quite the punch it needs. I left the background uncolored, because I thought it was more interesting than anything I could have done to it. I did the very fun under-lighting, which was, as previously mentioned, a whole lot of fun. And yet still, I am not satisfied. I'm still struggling with anything black. That gun... sigh. It was my nemesis this round. But we've all just gotta deal with where we are now, and keep working to improve! That's what I intend to do.

But srsly, for some reason this is Extra Epic. The tan coloured plain background really makes the colours stand out, and dat camera angle
(and my sugr intakes, which are currently halfway resurreced from the great botcon ban, say that the gun is a special lavendertron-defeating weapon)

I like the light focus from the blasts, and the texture from the cardstock adds an interesting effect. I think the explosions could be a little more detailed, though.
