Description Thanks a million to XenoPrime,[link] for letting me color his great Sunstreaker lineart. You can see the lineart here:

Check him out - I especially like this one of his: [link] So quirky and alive.

So this was my very first attempt at tryin' t' make somethin' look shiiiiiny... and I thought Sunny-Bot would be a great one to experiment on... [evil grin]
I was looking at E. J. Su's Sunstreaker in the Infiltration and Escalation books for my color reference - thus the red and blue parts. Oh - You Must Go Buy Those Comic Books! They Are GOOD!!!
I only had my 50 Crayola markers, so there are a few bits - his windshield specifically - where I just didn't have anything like the right color. And there are a few other bits where, if I were less lazy, I'd redo it - his monk tonsure helmet coloring, for example - but overall, he turned out OK. I'm just doing this for fun, to try to exercise the creative juices so I won't lose them.

Thanks again to XenoPrime for making - and sharing - this great lineart!!!

Oh, and I do not own Sunstreaker. Hasbro owns his aft, whether he likes it or not.

You paint all of them with markers? Amazing >_πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

For some reason, markers just seem to work for me. I do a lot of mixing and layering. It is like painting, actually, in some ways. But I still have SOOOOOOOOO much to learn! I'll keep working at this till my fingers fall off!

Sweet!! Well I'm saving for some good markers right now (good brands are very expensive here…) Until now I'm still learning with color pencils and crayons xP

Look on Ebay. That's where I found my first few markers. You can find them for fairly cheap if you look, and are willing to be flexible on colors. I like Prismacolors, but a lot of people like Copics. Good luck!

Good and SHINY!
Especially the thighs, hip, and windshield. so shiny.
the red bit on the upper arms is really well done, I think, and overall lovely shading.

Wow, I like how you stuck to the Alternators coloring scheme while still giving him a lot of heft. He seems really massive and scary (and shiny). Nice job.

Ha - I've never seen a real Alternators Sunny. I was jus' makin' it up as I went along, influenced by my beloved comic books... Thanks Cor.

Heck - thanks everybody!
