wanted to create something epic. and duuude, the 3D model already looked pretty cool. Now it looks even better. c:
This guy here has two giant plasma canons (the thingies on the wings) and four advanced ion high power engines on the back.
I just made that stuff up but hey who cares. Well actually the hard points for that stuff are already on the model.
Aaaaanyways. If I were to fly such a thing for real, I'd feel like, chuck norris or something.

That is quiite a step up from the original 3D model. I like all the detales you added, it even looks like it's been through battle before or something.

in a static picture without animation, painting over a 3D model is easier than to texture it (it's a bit cumbersome if your model is detailed and has many surfaces...)
I wanted to make a realistic ship and stuff, so of course it looks a bit shabby from combat and such

Never really even thought or trying that, it sounds tough. But it makes sense that it would be somewhat easier though yeah.
That's a nice idea for another picture too, I'm sure you could make it pretty cool, maybe you'll get to make it sometime.

Drawing spaceships - LIKE A BOSS! Respekt, man hat ja länger nix mehr von dir gesehn. Schön wäre jetzt noch ne passende Umgebung. Schwarz isses ja schonmal. Paar weiße Punkte und bunte Schweifen irgendwo hinklatschen, und schon haste dein Universum

jaa, war beschäftigt mit schule... bin grad bisschen im stress und brauch einen ausgleich dazu.
Eine umgebung zu dem bild hatte ich ursprünglich geplant - mal schauen was sich machen lässt =]
