you need to use either Adobe ImageReady, or some other animation program...i don't know any in particular, but there are several free programs you can find on the internet.8D

The second Program you used, this "imageready"... Is it possible with it to create animated gifs with transparent backround, something like this: [link] ?
Gimp (which I am using) just adds one layer over the next, so it is not working with that ^^' I am looking for a program that can do that corectly.
And your Tutorial is well done~

yes, of course!8D
as long as the files you are using have a transparent background, the outcome will be a transparent background.
thank you!!!;u;<333 it was my first tutorial, so i was unsure whether people could understand it or not.xD

hello again
I downloaded a free tutorial of Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended, and I have created my animation frames, but have no idea how to open up imageready [ unless I'm mistaken, I think it comes with the photoshop program i downloaded ]

do you have the program imageready? if so, put the frames into a folder and give it a name that you can recognize. then, open up imageready and go to file> import> folder as frames.8D

some steps could have been skipped becoz the line art n coloring thing cud have been done in image ready itself. but a good tut nonetheless..caught some idea abt the usefulness of the "lock transparency" tool

I don't actually have the programs, but now I actually know what to look for next time I see an electronic store. And I think the programs are available in my school. Maybe I can use it there.
Thanks again.
