That looks very cool! Is that a special cartoon render plugin or the normally blender one? Somtimes i work with included cartoon render in 3DSMax, but that looks realy shitty in comparison to your work.

I'm glad you ended up with Blender instead of the other way around. I love the feel of this artwork. The outline looks fantastic. But I've got one suggestion that you could try out (probably for the version 2), try to add an environment for this one, with almost same settings you used for your tank. That would look great.
