Wow, so long ago. It's amazing to see how far SpaceX has come. Onward to full reusability, Onward to Mars I say!Β

Let's hope the Falcon can step up and do the shuttle's job. I have my doubts but hope it will succeed.

After first Falcon 9 flight and COTS-1 flight, I have no doubt that Dragon can supply ISS. And about Human space flight… time will tell.

wow! That's a good blender render! hooray!

Though ~Eesu is right, it should blend more with the bg. I don't even know how to do that myself. But I suggest you blur a lil the bg so as to create a focus on the subject. And add more smokes and dark portions to the thrusters, since it is being lit by the flame itself and the sun (which I suppose is coming from our far left view).

Eesu [2007-05-30 21:47:02 +0000 UTC]

It looks real at first, good job.
Near the thrusters there is a white outline of the model that needs cleaned up.
Need to match the model lighting to the background lighting, move the light source appropriatly, they dont quite work right.
The texturing is great well done, not too glossy, enough roughness.
Model needs to be blended a little better into the background.

Thanks for comments. I try tweak the lighting and fix that outline.

In addition... just blur the edges or whatever effect you feel will give it an additional sense of motion no matter how small.
