Nice, I love the Tripods. And I think everyone hated the ending of 2005 War of The Worlds was because Robbie survived.

Captures the atmosphere of the Tripods, and the detail is immense.
I feel the 2005 adaptation of War Of The Worlds was somewhat underrated though, especially in innovative design; I personally prefer this design over the others, it looks more intelligent and dynamic (in a sort of advanced, agile and slender way) - and you captured that here.

Thanks, I like design other ways but insect type features (+blood sucking) gives me not so intimidating ideas. (There are lot of mosquitoes of Finnish summer...)

They harvested blood to fertilize the Red Weed. You're right though; it wasn't too intimidating, but a mosquito cannot drain you of all your blood in ten seconds, so you might want to reconsider the intimidating part and hypothetically place yourself at the mercy of a Tripod, heheh.

I always wondered what is inside the tripod. Was it a super cool high tech controll room, where the aliens were protected by anything and everything?
And I wonder if todays scientists are tryiing to build this "tripod" machine pod thingie...
I wish I had one so I can always go places with it...

The sounds these things were set to make in that movie were deliberately designed to be discomforting to the human ear and I loved every second of it. I love dark, ominous, inhuman figures like this too. Good job.
