May I ask how you masks eyeballs when painting?or maybe you removing them?
I saw some people use gentle watercolors and other paints, making delicate layers

When I paint with water-based paint around eyes,
I do not protect eyes.
I can easily remove the paint which stuck to a glass eye.
When I paint with an oil-base paint around eyes,
I paint a glass eye with masking sol.
