I did this tutorial for traditional colouring but the same method can be used in digital too ^^i hope this helps anyone!

Useful, but I find this technique is kinda more for girls...
Maybe if I use this technique, I won't have that much trouble drawing girl charactes!

haha its a good trick for Shoujo boys too, for Shonen style just keep it very basic.

Though the thing is my eye style is different...I tend to make things more narrow on the side so that there's a tick at the corner of the eye downwards (hard to explain...)...I think I should try your style for girls (I use the same generic eyes I use for girls and they look wrong )

I *tend* to use narrower eyes for males and rounder eyes for females (my generic eye rule) but somehow it boils down to this generic eye...
