Sort of off-topic, but I'm read the Rosario and Vampire manga just now, and there's one sequence where you being petite would be an advantage: Moka gets kidnapped and carried off over the kidnapper's shoulder, which isΒ going to be easier for the kidnapper to playΒ with a petite woman as Moka.

Well, it's because it's not a con exclussively to comics, etc.
It is for everyone and the so-called "normal people" seem to dislike costumes.
They are affraid that the children there would be scared of the scary characters.
Bullshit, I say! After all, politicians are there, too. And some of my country's politicians have faces, way more scary than any zombie could ever be
