wow, with cratering like that i am thinking of some form of orbital strikes.. nuclear of any kind would not permit life so close to it.

It's an interesting concept that makes me curious about the worldbuilding behind it. The little flying robot implies something futuristic, the greenery makes me think of arcadian or utopian themes, the buildings feels old or intentionally low tech and calm (cultural maybe?) and the holes look artificial. I think they could've been blasts or meteorites due to they're circular shape; the green and water implies that it was so long ago that it may have been long ago, maybe enough to be a legend.
