Nice tutorial! Here's a few extra Blender tips for those experiencing problems!
MISSING BONES? : If your model's bones disappeared, 1) select the model, 2) Select the "MMD Tools" Tab on the far left. 3) Scroll down to the "MMD Model Tools" Section. 4) Check "Show Armature" and the bones should appear if properly created in MMD.
For Easier Posing: 1) Select the armature (bones), go to the right and under the list of objects in the scene there is a bar (Starts with a picture of a camera). 2) Make sure the picture of the person is selected (it should be if you selected the armature.) 3) Under "Display" Select "Stick" and check "X-Ray. 4) Go into pose mode (Click where it says object mode with the armature selected) 5) begin posing! (Select a bone, press r to rotate, g to "grab" or translate.
Colors Missing?: Material mode Should show the actual color of the model. Make certain you have enough lights shining on it. Material mode can be accessed by clicking on the sphere to the right of where it says "Object mode" directly below the scene. To add lights, use Shift + A, Lamp (I would use a sun, they're the brightest. Brightness can be adjusted by selecting the lamp and then gong to the far right and clicking on the yellow lamp symbol located in the bar under the list of items in the scene. For Special Shading Effects, go to the "MMD Tools" tab on the far left. At the bottom, under "MMD View Tools" there are four shading buttons you can play around with it.
Parts of the Model Disappear When Rendered? The material of these parts is not supported in Blender. Change the material of these parts. (Tab into edit mode, Select these "disappearing areas" and create a new material for them, similar to the one that should be there. (More instructions on this later, just look up on YouTube for now!)
MMD tools not showing in User Preferences window make certain you unzipped the file and dragged only the "mmd tools" folder not the "blender_mmd_tools_ master" folder into the right addons folder in blender
Let me know if this helps.

THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS, I AM ACTUALLY HAVING AN ISSUE WITH EXPORTING A ALREADY MADE MODEL BACK TO MMD FORM BLENDER, IT KEEPS TELLING ME MY MATERIALS DON'T EXIST, AND I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING I COULD THINK OF, FROM RENAMING THEM TO THE RIGHT ONES TO GOING THROUGH THE WIKI TO EXPORT MAKE HUMAN TO MMD (EVEN THOUGH MY MINE, AS STATED BEFORE, ISN'T A MAKE HUMAN MODEL AND IT'S A MMD MODEL) IS THERE SOME KIND OF BUTTON I'M NOT TURNING ON OR A PLACE WHERE I PLACE MY MODELS MATERIALS PATH? I OTHERWISE HAVE NO OTHER IDEA HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE...CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? ^_^ DON'T MENA TO INTRUDE ON ANYONE ELSE CONVERSATION, AND I'M NOT TYPING LIKE THIS TO YELL, I HAVE EYE ISSUES, JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW AND THANKS FOR READING. ^_^

HI (I'M NOT YELLING, SEE ABOVE POST THAT I'M REPLYING TO). I DON'T HAVE MUCH EXPERIENCE WITH EXPORTING SINCE I DO MOST OF MY WORK IN BLENDER. HOWEVER, HERE'S SOME QUICK TIPS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT HELP
1) MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING THE LATEST POWROPI FORK OF MMD_TOOLS
2) MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING BLENDER RENDER ENGINE NOT CYCLES
3) YOUR MATERIALS SHOULD BE UV UNWRAPPED OR IF SOLID COLORS SET UNDER THE MMD MATERIAL SECTION UNDER THE MATERIALS TAB IN BLENDER
ALSO BE SURE TO NAME THEM PROPERLY HERE.
4) UNDER THE MATERIALS TAB IN BLENDER, ALL THE WAY AT THE BOTTOM, THERE'S A MMD TEXTURE SECTION, I THINK YOU LOAD YOUR UV TEXTURES THERE
IN OTHER WORDS PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THESE SECTIONS...
CLICK ON IMAGE TO ENLARGE..,THESE SECTIONS ARE WHERE THE EXPORTER LOOKS FOR MATERIALS
ANOTHER REALLY GOOD IDEA IS TO LEARN HOW TO USE PMDE/PMXE TO LOAD TEXTURES. IT IS OFTEN RECOMMENDED YOU USE THESE TO RELOAD AND ADJUST TEXTURES AFTER EXPORTING FROM BLENDER, SINCE EXPORTING MATERIALS CAN SOMETIMES BE UNSTABLE. YOU CAN BAKE THE TEXTURES TO A PNG IN BLENDER AND RELOAD THEM THAT WAY. DO YOU ALREADY HAVE THE TEXTURES EXPORTED AS UNWRAPPED IMAGES? (YOU WILL NEED THEM IN SUCH A FORMAT ALONG WITH YOUR PMD/PMX TO PROPERLY IMPORT THEM INTO MMD)
ILL TAG Hogarth-MMD SINCE HE KNOWS A LOT MORE ABOUT THESE TOOLS (HE WORKED WITH THE DEVELOPERS, I THINK)

THANK YOU SO MUCH, I WILL TRY OUT THOSE METHODS AND I'LL TAKE A LOOK AT THE IMAGE THING TO AND TRY IT OUT AS SOON AS I CAN, I WILL TELL YOU WHETHER OR NOT TI WORKED,
JUST IN CASE IT DOSE'NT THOUGH (SINCE I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT UNWRAPPING TEXTURES) I MAY TRY TO SIMPLY EDIT MY MODEL IN PMX IT'S SELF, (ALL I KNOW ABOUT THE UVS IS THAT I CAN ADD THEM MANUALLY THROUGH THE UV EDITOR IN BLENDER, IDK IF THAT'S UNWRAPPING SO TO SAY, IDK IF THEY ARE BUT STILL ILL TRY)
ALSO, JUST AS HEADS UP AS TO WHAT I'M DOING, I'M ACTUALLY JUST TRYING TO REPLACE ACTUAL IRIS MODELS OF AN OC OF MIEN (I AHD SOMEONE HELP MAKE ER FOR ME SINC EI'M NOT GOOD AT THAT ETHER, AND NOW, I WANNA SEE WHAT SHE'D LOOK LIEK WITH DIFFERENT EYES, AND SINCE I THINK IT'S A TDA MODEL BASSE DON THE TEXTURE LOOKS, I KNEW I COULDN'T PASTE IT OVER THE EXISTING EYE TEXTURE, MAINLY DUE TO IT'S SHAPE BEING DIFFERENT). THE ONLY REASON I AM NOT DOING THIS IN PMX IS BEaUE, AGAIN, I AM NOT GOOD AT EDITING MODELS THERE YET AND I KIND OF KNOW BLENDER, SO I THOUGHT WHY NOT LEARN IT THERE IF ALL ELSE FAILS I WILL TRY PMX EDITOR THOUGH. THANKS, FOR THE HELP AND I, HAVE TALKED TO HIM MYSELF BUT NOW THAT I'VE DONE MORE STUFF, I MAY CONTACT HIM AGAIN. ^_^

WELL, IF YOU ARE JUST TRYING TO EDIT THE EYE TEXTURES, ITS PRETTY EASY TO DO IN PMXE, SEE www.youtube.com/watch?v=frzdvW…
SINCE THEY ARE A DIFFERENT SHAPE YOU WILL HAVE TO REDO THE UV, WHICH THE VIDEO SHOWS YOU HOW TO DO (CHECK OUT THE LAST TWO METHODS, THE FIRST (PASTING OVER THE EXISTING TEXTURE) WILL NOT WORK AS YOU MENTIONED)
HOPE THIS HELPS! BEST OF LUCK!

MMD tools not showing in User Preferences window make certain you unzipped the file and dragged only the "mmd tools" folder not the "blender_mmd_tools_ master" folder into the right addons folder in blender
The CHANGELOG.md, LICENSE, README.md and README_en.md should NOT be copiedd to the addons folder or it will not work!
1) Unzip the blender_mmd_tools-master.zip file you downloaded
2) Open the folder containing your Blender.app
3) Right-click Blender.app and select "Show Package Contents"
4) Then open the "Contents" folder, followed by "Resources", then "2.76" (or whatever version of Blender you may have), then "scripts", and finally open the "addons" folder
5) Now inside the "addons" folder, you want to copy and paste the "mmd_tools" folder that was unzipped from inside the blender_mmd_tools-master.zip file
6) Now open (or restart) the Blender app and go to the User Preferences and search mmd_tools and check to use the add-on and "Save User Settings" To open a Blender User Preferences editor go to File ‣ User Preferences.
7) Now go back to 3D view and it should be a new tab called mmd_tools
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other difficulties!

Just Curious, but how would you export something back in to PMD, or is that not the point of this addon

IDK what to say. I'm completely out of my element with Macs. I'd say just play around with the files until you get somewhere. Are there files and folders similar to this on your Mac?

Not at all similar. There is a folder for Blender which holds the program and a bunch of text.

No you need the folder.
Hmmm...Did you make sure that mmd_tools was not accidentally put in a different addon folder?
Check that out first. Go back to the program files, and check Blender's addons to make sure that mmd tools is there.

Why don't you give it a try? See how well it works out for you (and maybe get back to me about it because now I'm kind of curious too).
