Whoo! That last panel kicked me ass hard. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on it.
There are a few little fun trivia things in this page.
First off, thanks to , we have the "fried liver balls" thing. Yep, I learned from her that Mozart liked deep fried liver balls. Now, I like fried chicken livers so hey...I'd probably give that a try (hehe)...
Also, Freddie is worried about the fried food. The real Freddie had a really sensitive stomach and would probably have gotten sick just walking into a greasy spoon, let alone actually eating the food.
Felix's remark comes from a cool movie I watched the other day called "The World's Fastest Indian." The main character, who is from New Zealand, makes a remark in an American diner that he'd never seen a menu with photographs in it. I thought that was cute, so I added it here...plus these guys are seeing color photography for the first time, so it's gotta be trippy.
Anyhow, I have yammered about this long enough. Enjoy!

Yeah, I think most good comic artists tend to make even inanimate objects alive somehow. You're one of the best I've seen at that.

I'm noticing how your panels tend to have an overall warmth--lots of yummy reds and oranges. And the fleshtones are nice and deep. I like the vividness. And yes, it's slightly trippy!

Yeah diners (well the real retro ones anyhow) always seem to have really vivid colors in them. I love those old 50s diners that no one's ever remodeled. Much more character than, say, an Applebee's or whatever.
And yeah, I darkened up their skin a bit--after all, they got a lot of sun!
Fried liver balls...I can't decide what to think. I'd definitely try one.

Actually, chopped liver isn't bad if it's really fresh...stale stuff that's been in the fridge forever, not so much.
Maybe frying the liver would make it yummier. Fry anything enough, and it all tastes like french fries to me
