Figured Pyro would be the ultimate repaint and remold for this mold. It worked out reasonably well for as far as G2 colours are reasonable. >___>However...
My own G2 Pyro broke in half at the waist while transforming it back to vehicle mode. I'm sad now...

Seriously though, it's due to the "Gold Plastic Syndrome". :/ Apparently lots of early 90s toys with gold plastic suffered from poor plastic quality due to a poor plastic mix that could even crumble and break while in a sealed box... :/
