I've been working on this on and off for a few weeks so THAT'S WHY EVERYONE'S HEADS ARE DIFFERENT SIZES AGGHH.The line art was all done with the same size brush though so that's why I didn't resize them... ><
I started a consistency sheet earlier but... it was stupid. Except Nova, I liked how he came out... on this one he looks scary. XD
I DON'T DRAW ANY OF THESE GUYS ENOUGH SO THIS THING WILL HELP ME REMEMBER TO DEFINE THEIR FEATURES BETTER. I tried to give everyone a unique nose, at least... I dunno how well that worked out. I'll experiment more in the future.
All of these except for the personification of Canada belong to , Canada belongs to Himaruya blah blah blah.

WHY COULDN'T IT BE NEWFOUNDLAND AND... damn why do all cat breeds have location names. Newfoundland and Oriental just sounds offensive. XDDD
I stared at Sherry's profiles and descriptions along with Mint's consistency sheet (AS WELL AS ALL OF YOUR ART. I WATCH ALL YOU GUYS CLOSELY WHEN YOU'RE NOT LOOKING.) to inspire me, but this isn't written in stone so anything you want to suggest about their features I'm up for experimenting with.

OMG I drew Canada the last and the fastest and I think he actually came out just how I imagine him for once. He's rockin' a hockey mullet.
EVERYONE ELSE HAS ODD SHAPED FACES AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THAT. I DRAW FACES BETTER ON PAPER (but everything else I must do digitally so meh)

yes, that's usually the order i draw them in if I don't draw them west to east or alphabetically.

i usually draw west-to-east (4 the provinces), and then west-to-east again (for the territories)
oh and on my version, i made nova scotia look less creepy because people were saying that he looked scary on urs

Personally, I love your style, Hapo. I've never seen anything like it. It's unique, just like you and you should be proud of the fact that your art reflects a little bit of who you are. If I had something to say artistically I would say that your color scheme is very nice and your art looks amazing ^^~

Amy's and Misha's and Meghan's Ontario is pretty smug, Rhin's can be adorkable but is still a douche a lot of the time, mine is a coffee addict and is pretty unhappy most of the time. Come to think of it I've drawn more Happy!Manny than Happy!Ontario. They should not be that close on the grumpy scale.

I've always had a soft spot for Ontario, so to make up for me yelling at Alberta all the time I try and make him look a bit ridiculous wait where am I going with this.
What's scary is how often we all draw Happy!Alberta, when you're here (living or visiting, it doesn't matter) ALBERTA IS ANGREE AT EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING.
WHY
WHY IS THIS MAKING SENSE
It's the oil of course. :\ Alberta's been booming, we didn't feel the recession much (you can tell because the parking lot for West Ed is ALWAYS full except at Zellers because no one goes to Zellers anymore which is a shame because it used to be cool) Since the Atlantic provinces are all suffering pretty bad they all come out to make money, a lot of them staying much longer than they meant to. Now every car, house, and grocery store in Alberta flies a Newfoundland flag since they've had to settle down and bring their families out. Liquor stores are springing up all over the place (Alberta blames it on the Newfies, but if Alberta didn't like it so much he wouldn't allow it!). There are a lot of awful stereotypes about Newfoundlanders out here, especially in the rural communities I live around. They've become second class citizens out here, and a lot of them have lost their adorable accents (The only one I heard was from a student teacher I had in high school; it was very faint.)

Not that the rest of us don't give or at least consider Alberta with douchey moments but we usually put him as #2 place behind Ontario. :/a hmm. It's a face for him clearly. Yup, I suppose so. Although Ontario is a pretty big jerk in my head too. I think Ontario is a bureaucratic jerk that is sometimes able to subtly hide his jerkiness, but there's nothing subtle about Alberta. Not even Banff, and it's his soft side. XD

Alberta and Saskatchewan: HA HA YOU'RE FLAT YOU SERIOUSLY THINK YOU HAVE OIL YOU'LL NEVER MAKE ANY MONEY. (Saskatchewan is probably annoyed by Alberta a lot but they're bros. They were actually originally going to be one province but John A. was like no draw a line down the middle, so they're sort of joined at the hip. Sask does the farming and Alberta does the ranching, and they make a profit.)
Alberta and Manitoba: I seriously don't know. There are a lot of people who moved here from Manitoba and wish they were back there. The rest of us joke about how Winnipeg is even lamer than Edmonton (I like both because I'm a loser). We have no idea what goes on in Manitoba.
I don't know how Saskatchewan relates to Manitoba. Who knows what goes on inside that head of his.
The only solution is to watch the Saskatchewan local news more (I get all the CTV and Global Channels but I only watch Edmonton's news. I should take advantage of this.
Great Big Sea is my life. I listened to it so much when I was growing up to the point that I wanted to live on the East Coast. >3< It pwns the hell out of Nickleback. *shudder*

I grew up on a lot of similar music thanks to my mum but I didn't really get introduced to them until I got involved in the project. Their version of Mary Mac turned me off initially but it grew on me and I like it better than the one I grew up with these days.

Funny thing about Newfoundlands and Labradors:
Newfoundlands were originally bred in Labrador.
Labradors were originally bred on Newfoundland.
So why are the names switched? Because Newfies were first, so got named for the whole place.
