Great impact with all that black and silver. I really like the composition too, it highlights the incredible and almost unnatural bendiness of the creature and thus holds the attention much longer than a casual glance.

Wow, cheers! I really struggle with composition. But maybe excessive bendiness is a good substitute?
(Just replied to your comment about tangoing with a dire wolf. Now my brain has mentally shifted the picture and the flower is sticking out from the side of the skull's teeth. Composition goes from interesting to comical in one simple move. Bad brain!)

His dragons are very coily (OK, so that is a made up word but they are sort of made up of coils), and vaguely Chinese, and their heads remind me of the way Renaissance artists depicted the heads of dolphins and whales...doglike but not.
Every so often I get the urge to draw dragons too.
