::Repost::Its almost finished now

Oke, I think I'm GOING to be very proud on this project. This will be a part of a Flash website, the screens are added onto a big wheel. Every time you click a menu button the wheel spins a few degrees and the new page fades in.
I guess that how I see this, if you think you have better ideas, I'm glad to hear it from you!!

Great!
Will all the areas that are white be white in the final version? Because I think some colour and texture variation would really help this. The same goes for the red areas. Will the angle be like this? Because the machine takes up a huge proprtion of the user's screen, yet the screen that the machine holds up for you is comparitively tiny - maybe you should twist the angle around so that the screen is bigger. Also, I hope you put as much work into the background as you have into the 3D modelling. Flat, empty backgrounds spoil a lot of 3D pieces that would otherwise be really good.
Overall, it's great to see someone doing something so different and ambitious. Hope you do something really special with it.

Wow, thanx for the huge comment
I'm just getting started with 3D, so I don't know all the funtions and and thing you can do, but simple shapes, lights and materials are easy.
But in the website you'll see a front view of this object (in this render I just want to show you the entire object), the text content of the screen will be just enough. Click here for "preview ". In the preview you see the place where a screen will appear in the website, this is also the real site, thats why I used white colors and red.
I don't really know what I'll do with the background, do you think its good now, or should I make it a more colorfull background?
I hope you see what I want, and maybe you've got different suggestions now.
Hehe, mine is also real big

How will the 3D graphics be presented? using video, I suppose?
I think the background should be something that matches the hi-tech theme. So, maybe something detailed and abstract, or maybe make it look a little like the inside of a factory or science lab. Whatever it is, I think it should be subtle, probably dark, and maybe a little out of focus - but it should add to the general atmosphere (I think that a blank or very simple background may actually detract from the atmosphere).

Yeah, well, a few images playing after each other. If I'm home I'll make a preview, then you can really see what I mean.

OK. I think I can imagine it. That's probably the best way to do it.

HDRI turns your reflections into real-life reflections, so it'll look way more realistic. I'm sure you can find tutorials about it over at pixel2life.com and maybe [link] .

Good job! You might want to work on the HDRI though

You might want to explain what that is because I'm just getting started with 3D things.
How do I do that in C4D?
