And old project, done for a contest for 99designs. I didn't win, although it was by far the best design, I guess the client thought otherwise
The concept was to sell candy online. And you are able to read reviews and watch videos about candy.
I'm not really pleased with it, but I thought I'd share.

very distracting... good colors, but you should work on most/less important eye catching elements.

I think he means, without the images and the header it could be a business layout and I agree with that.. Altough it's a nice design

The design of the site, it doesnΒ΄t tell me anyhing about "candy". So iΒ΄m missing a bit more joyful layout, and not as straight forward that it is now. Right now it can be a layout for everything.

i haven't met anyone who's actually won from 99designs... :T
so i gave up on trying to make money there

That was the second time I tried, but the first time I entered a contest I won. I won a 1000 bucks
