Well, probably a few of you thought I was gone or something. But no, I'm still alive and kicki... designing
Here is a small project I did for school, its a for a non existing company who supports third world countries.
I used a lot of new techniques for this website. I know looks quite simple but it isn't.

Looks good man, the only thing is the framerates seem to be a little low. What do you have them set to?

At all time? Or just a second or 2 every 60 seconds? (thats the time the BG changes image what takes a lot of processing)
Because its smooth all the time normally (30 FPS)

Hmm, well it might be the loading of the background images or something. Do you prefetch the images and then cache them?

It loads an external image (800 x 600), after its loaded it converts the image to BitmapData and makes it full screen. Also a blendMode (overlay) is used to make the image green.
But ones that is done, it no longer uses any performance.

Hmm on my home PC everything seems to move a little smoother. Only thing I suggest is the fading in of the objects, decrease the total actionframes used for the transition so the content comes into view a little faster

It looks simple and professional.
The link reveals a more intricate overall design, which is very nice.
The only turnoff :the bright green is difficult on the eyes after a while, but looks great non theless

website is designed to be visited as full screen. If you escape the full screen, logo on the top of the page comes over the text! You can keep the content text under the logo on risize function.

I thought it looks nice on the "Projecten" (portfolio) page. But indeed, not on the pages where it lays on top of texts.

Yeah i think so, it looks fine on the top screen but on the bottom two it seems to be in to much space.
