I know there are folks on this site who think that anyone who blocks someone is automatically just a cowardly wimp. That is not true - the block feature is in place for a good reason, and I think that, overall, it is useful in protecting people from harassment. Unfortunately, there are those out there who abuse the feature (particularly among those who make stamps).

Basically, don't just block everyone who disagrees with you. If you make stamps, especially, you should get used to the fact that not everyone is going to agree with your opinion. Learn to listen to different opinions - you might be surprised how much you can learn from them.

Don't just flame and block. Your victim may not be able to respond to you, but they can still report your offensive comment.

In my own case, the people I tend to block are people who continue to make offensive comments after I have asked them to stop, or people with differing opinions who repeatedly insist that I am wrong for my way of thinking, and who will not just agree to disagree.

Edit: I really hate to do this, but for the time being, I'm disabling comments on this one. It's been getting too many comments from deviants just complaining about someone who's blocked them. That's not the point of this. If someone blocks you, just move on. Or complain to someone else. This isn't the place for that.
