the first shot i work on Casper and the first ever CG shot i had ever done: Fatso and Stretch are eating breakfast. that piece of donut Stretch is swallowing? my idea!but i look back on it now and think, damn! the animation is terrible!

I noticed that right after he swallows; when he looks under the table at Casper the doughnut doesn't fall out of him. So I deduce that food only falls out of him is if he swallows too much at once. Same with beverages.

WHAT!? ARE YOU KIDDING! I LOVE THIS! Sure as heck beats what they've done with Casper's Scare School and...all the movies that followed! @.@ To me this movie's animation is FAR BETTER....and more amazing!

well, the approach was different...getting classical animators to work on computers, which was revolutionary back then considering how expensive both the software and hardware was.

Oh I could imagine! @.@ Especially on the DVD when they were talking about the Lucky Enough to Be A Ghost scene? Holy....
I've always joked that if I ever came across the Billions of dollars in the lottery (HAHAHAHA....fat chance for me! XD), that I'd totally pay for the finished version of that song.

you know, i dimly remember that scene, Lucky Enough to Be A Ghost. but it would have nearly doubled the cost of ILM's animation.
