Horse: EH Black Snips

Breed: Mustang

When Haru was asked if she'd like to join IVS and MS for an endurance race she was both surprised and glad that they asked her. EH was not known for great endurance horses, they actually only had a few animals that were capable of such event. But actually she allready knew what horse she would take. She walked through the stable to her all-time favourite, the one she knew was allways ready for such kind of events. The mustang mare allready knew that Haru came to her, she stoped to nibble on some hay and raised her head to greet her human friend.
"Mind some event, girl?" Haru asked "You're far away from retiring, are you?"

The mare snorted pushed her warm nose in Harus hair. When Haru tickled her under the chin she turned her head again to eat more hay. Haru smiled.

When Haru got Snips out of the trailer she saw the mares excitement. The mustang mare was eager to show what she got, but still remained calm. They had the first stage of the event and wanted to make a good time. Haru attached the flashlight and walkie talkie they got on snips tack, to light their way. Haru pushed the mare softly and she started to trot happily through the forest, everything was new and smelled so different. They left the path to find a faster route and started to speed up a bit, Snips jumped over trees and rocks that were in their way. Some trees stood so close together that they had to make it arround them. Most of the time there was nothing special on their way, except some smaller animals that got startled by their sudden appearance.

After a while Haru slowed her horse down and yawned. They started in the middle of the night and though Haru had no problems to be up in the night she still was a bit tired.
