At first glance its beautiful but if you look at it for a while you get this feeling of fear. I dont know maybe its just me, but if I was in this guys place I would feel so vulnerable since the power difference is cleary in her favor. Vulnerability is something graceful but at the sametime scary since your life depends on someone else.

actually that is what you are suppose to feel. because Naga are mainly seen as 'Evil" in mainstream pop-culture most people's fist reaction is to feel 'vulnerable' just like Gerrard, however, as you get to know the characters (unless the reader is a complete psycho) you find her true nature to be kind and loving. a sort of substance over surface kinda thing

Nell regarded Gerards fascination as he fiddles with the cube. His eyes dilate, mind completely absorbed into the cube. That has been going on for an hour. And as the minutes passed, he was utterly silent. She is convinced that Gerard might not even notice that she's there. She then looks at the cube itself. She had never seen such device before. At least not within her race.
"What are you doing, Gerrard?"
There is a surprised look on his face as he turns to Nell, "Oh, its... a puzzle cube?"
"What does it do?"
"It's... well it's a toy."
"What is... toy?"
"Something you play with to past your time and relax."
"Are you relaxed?"
Now his face changed. He looks at Nell strange for asking such question. "Um... Yes."

Those scales look very good, as does the tree in the background. Will you make it detailed later on or are you playing with perspective, making the illusion important? Her left shoulder (right to us) looks a bit bright though, like the shadow just disappers from it.

yes i will be working on the tree a lot more so that it is unified with the pieces and the shadows all over need the work you just suggested
