SO APPARENTLY DEVIANTART NIXED THE QUALITY, IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT IN HD WATCH IT HEREDan has been practicing a cool trick with his guns and decides to show Joe what he can do! But things don't go exactly as planned.
I got this idea when I ran out of stuff to draw, and thought, why not animate something. May as well use the video feature before my core runs out in a week right? haHAA
I actually kinda based this off of a certain Ace attorney character, you get unlimited gratitude points if you can tell me who it is!
So after my slow and steady recovery from my last animation that I did, I wisely decided to use a different program this time instead of Photoshop/Paint tool sai/ sony vegas. This time I used Krita, which is a free open source art program. Let me just say, I wish I knew about this program before I did my last animation; it would have saved me a ton of time. No more hundreds of layers to keep track of individually, this time I can use just one and add keyframes for different frames instead. This only took me 3 days to do.
Just look at that, only 9 layers! Amazin'.

LOL - this is really funny and well done. You have packed quite a variety of characters into this clip as well, so kudos. Only nine layers! Impressive - I don't think I would ever manage that few layers, even with drawing regular artwork, let alone if I ever try animation. Krita wins the day again

Thank you! I used to use a lot of layers myself, but after drawing on paper more I started to use less. And yeah, Krita is awesome! I completely recommend it if you ever want to try animation out.

You're welcome! Krita has really helped me with digital art (it's also made me lazy because now I find it really hard to consider ever doing traditional art LOL). And I hope I am brave enough to tackle Krita's animation features some day!

Early in the process I was contemplating having him hit by it actually, but I changed my mind. That wouldn't have been pretty lol. But causing all that damage is gonna land him in some hot water with Suzanne xD
