Description
I had an assignment for class to redraw book pages in another artist's style. I chose one of my favorite artists, Ethan van Sciver. There was this really awesome picture of Wolverine he drew, and it inspired me to try something similar. That picture was supposed to be the cover for the comic issue, but it got rejected. I couldn't believe it... I read it was because they wanted to crack down on smoking and set a good example for kids. Still, a shame nonetheless. Anyway, I did this to try and get into the style for practice. I did this maybe two weeks ago, but I really wasn't sure about the anatomy so I didn't post it. But whatever, everyone messes up. I'll get it one day. I do like how the gun came out though, it looks metallic. Here's the original image I was inspired from. Pretty cool stuff.

Thanks, man! Aww, yeah, I love film noir. So cool! So far my favorite one has got to be this movie called Detective Story, it's really good! Definitely recommend.

Oh this is wonderful! I love the cell shade and the use of black a lot!
Also, if you were to open sketch commissions for a couple how much points would it cost just asking-

Thanks, glad you like it! Hmm... if I were to open sketch commissions, they'd probably be 100 points for now. I'm planning on redoing all of my prices once I get my animation out, but yeah. Right now they're pretty low.
