My pal GamerArtisan mentioned that Joe would probably play as Alex in Street Fighter, but I didn't know who he was. So I ended up playing Street Fighter 3 for the first time yesterday. Up until then I'd only ever played the second one, so yeah. It's pretty cool! Alex has got to be my favorite character, his design and moves are so flipping cool. Sorry Ken, you've been demoted to second place.How's this fit into the prompt? I dunno, you tell me. I guess Alex slung Ken around a lot, so that's it. Yeah, it's past tense, so what. Talk to my lawyer.
Dan: Woah, what's gotten into you, partner? You're playing pretty well today!
Joe: Must be the stress from work.
Dan: Aww, shoot! You stunned me!
Joe: Time for the finisher.
Dan: Wait, hold on. What's Ken doing?
Joe: ...He's begging for his life. Huh, I didn't know that could happen.
Dan: What the heck, man? That's gotta be a glitch of some kind.
Joe: I guess I've won too many times today.
Dan: Shuddap! I'll get you next time.
Joe: Sure.
Uh, yeah. I've been playing River City Girls lately, so that's where I got this idea from. And I got a new black marker, so there's more shadows. Saucy. I even bothered to draw a background this time. Triadic colors, rise up.

Aww yeah, Alex is the ♂️boss♂️of♂️this♂️gym♂️! Hehe. Yeah, I'd only played Street Fighter 2 before, so I didn't know any of the other characters. I agree though, the new designs are really strange in my opinion. Ken's haircut in Street fighter 5 looks like a banana xD That, and I also prefer the 2d graphics.
I based the background off of Alex's stage in the game! That's probably why it looks so good. And I put the HUD there just so you could see how badly Dan was losing, lol. This was really fun to draw!

Oh yeah yeah, gachi gang! You used the emote, that makes me laugh! I'll have to disagree on Bearded Ryu though, I think the beard makes him look homeless. I still get flashbacks of that one picture you drew that one time, it cracked me up. Portrayed my thoughts perfectly!

Drawing the health bar was interesting. I usually ink my drawings in the school library, but I forgot to bring my ruler. I ended up using one of the books as a straightedge, lol.
