Travis is back, baby! That's right, today is the day that his new game came out! I highly recommend buying it, as I've heard that the sales will contribute to No More Heroes 3 being made (and it's a good game too!) I myself walked over 2 miles from my college to buy it at Gamestop, and it was the last copy there. Let me tell you, that trip was an adventure in itself. My college is located in a mountains area, and the only way to get out is pretty much on a highway that doesn't really have anywhere to walk. So I had to walk around it in the woods to get there lol. Thankfully I was able to take a bus on the way back. It was so cold... but worth it to get this game! I haven't played it yet, because I wanted to draw this first. But from what I've seen so far I'm so hyped!From what you guys have told me, I need to work on my shadows more. So, I tried to do that here. Let me know how that turned out.
This is also kinda a redraw of one of my older Travis pictures. If you put them side by side there's a pretty big difference in skill haha. Well, that's a good thing! I don't have school until Tuesday, so I'll probably put some more stuff out soon.

Your use of colors and detail is very nice here! The definitive light source emitting from his sword really makes the piece stand out, and the shadows are nicely done! Definitely an improvement, I think.

Aww, I'm glad to have helped!! ^-^ The lighting really brings the piece out, especially with the added glow from the ring of light surrounding him. You're already great with poses, anatomy, and general shading, so it all worked out here.
