alright..i made the preloader (easy and works great, thanks), now, beeing a noobie to flash, im not quite sher where to start my movie. You said "After scene 1, frame one" so i thought you meant make a new scene and start it on there (start at Scene 2, Frame 1). That didnt work, my audio just started playing over my loader and my loader flashed. I tried starting it in scene one frame 2. It loaded fine, went to frame 2, and the loadbar appeard in the middle of my frame (i didnt put it there, it doesnt show up in the frame stage) and my music is playing double, so each note comes out as two fast notes in a row.
Can you help me out as to showing me where to start it?
Thanks! Great tutorial.

i managed to make the loader, but for some reason if i try to test the movie it says i have 2 errors in the action script. I'm not very smart with computers or anything so i'm not sure how to fix it or figure out what went wrong. Can someone help me out?

I'm gonna try this out tomorrow. Looks intelligent and useful, with easy to understand instructions. You even made the ActionScript copy+pastable. I'll fav this for now. Hope it works! Too tired to try right now

The scripting gets an error. Do you have the preloader yourself to paste here? Cause I can't tell which piece is the error as I get a blank error screen, but the script isn't allowed in.

Ah... I believe I missed a part. I'll fix that ASAP, but I'm currently dealing with horribly laggy laptop.

What you have explained is very different than what I have seen other people do when making a preloader... It seems to work, so thanks a lot!
