Okay, I've tried 3 times and keep screwing up something when I get to the motion tweening because the tween itself doesn't work...Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong at that point?

On the first page, what is the "center box for registration'? That's what I'm confused about, and also that I only started with flash 3 days ago...so help would be nice!^^

when making a movie clip, you can see in the window, 9 boxes, the 1 black, on the upper left, and the other 8, white. Click the center box to make it black. That's the registration.

alright so i used to use this tutorial to make all my preloaders. worked great!
but now i can't get it to work..
i carefully follow the steps, up untill the part where you put in all that action script. I'm in scene 1, i have the bar selected, and it wont let me put action script in for the bar. Say action script cannot be applied to the symbol. It's a movie symbol like you said. Don't know why it wont let me add action script.

You need to be more clear on what's what, and what does what. Cause you just seemed all over the place with your steps.

It didn't work at first, but then i added dynamic box with instance name "percent" or sumthn like that and it worked

If you're simply previewing it, that may be why.
Make sure you [whilst previewing] go to View > simulate download.
This option will make it appear as though you are downloading it from the internet. Locally, you don't need a loading bar due to you have all the files - this results in the constant going back and forth.

I just realized the preloader I'm looking at that has a play button on it is one from a diff tutorial which didnt work, but i forgot to delete. Sooo yeah, that would be why mine has a play button and yours doesnt. haha. okay. sorry.

okay now here's one that i just really can't figure out. How can I change it so that after loading, it doesnt go to a play button? I want it to load then just go straight on to playing an intro part of my film, then later i'll put in my own play button.
Any ideas?

oh never mind scratch my last comment about having problems! I see what was happening. When I went to test it I had the Loop option on under Control, so it would load it, then finish the sound and reload it. I put in a longer sound and stopped the looping and it works fine!
I've tried at least a dozen other tutorials. this is the only one ive found that works!
