Biography
A highly decorated military man, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross was present at the gamma bomb test that created the Hulk. Ross saw the danger Hulk posed and it began a long career of hunting him down. This hunt, bordering on obsession, made him the Hulk's most tenacious adversary and led to Ross himself becoming the "Red Hulk". In his desire to defeat the Hulk, he had become the one thing he hated most. As a result, he attempted the destroy his nemesis and take control of the country before seeking redemption as an Avenger. Ross has a bit of a gruff, tough exterior, and has shown to be very sarcastic, especially when he became the Red Hulk. Despite usually seeing Hulk as a threat and stopping at nothing to take him down, he is really a good man deep down inside with altruistic intentions, and he does what he does to protect his country and his loved ones, even though his view on Hulk is often highly misguided. He's also a recurring Agent of S.M.A.S.H. and founder of the Thunderbolts; a team of former villains.
