Finally!
Sorry for the huge delay. Basically, this page was troublesome, I had other distractions, and I also forced a break on myself in hopes that the page trouble would work itself out in my head. These are indeed excuses, however, and I'm sorry for the time between pages.
What to say about this one... My handwriting sucks, which is what I intend to do non-narrative dialogue in. Maybe it will improve one day? Hopefully I captured the scenario well enough? I want dynamic scenes for each frame, I didn't just want ponies chatting with each other in some lame side-view; this is what took so long, and was so mind-wracking. HUD, which took a tremendous amount of time to create... I wanted to just take it from the game, but that would have taken just about as long, unless I'm missing out on an easier way.
Bluster is busting out a taste of her puppet-master style!

ooh, i like this mare's style! i've always wanted to make a character that was a real smooth talker, but despite how common they appear, speech checks really aren't common enough to base a character around them.

In Fallout 3, definitely not. Speech characters have to be smart and clever, which is much harder in a "blow things up before they blow you up first" setting.

specially considering that even with 100 speech you can still fail most of the speech checks.

Really? That's so lame! I've never tried though. I like clever and charismatic characters, but large weapons are so much better to pay attention to in FPS games!

yeah, the speech checks go off a percentage system, so even with 100 speech some of the check only 75% chance of succeeding. new vegas uses a more solid system, basing it off your speech skill entirely, so every speech check needs a certain level of speech.
i never liked the Big Guns myself, they just didn't seem to do enough damage per bullet imo. i always ran out of ammo. does having a high level Big guns skill equalize that more?

I actually haven't played enough Fallout3 yet. Went through once with stealth and small arms, currently restarted it again going with Big Guns. Honestly, the game could use some actual powerful light machine guns. The constant streams of puny bullets are pretty lame.

my thoughts exactly. my advice is look up where the unique minigun is and grab that. or learn where a good supply of missiles and a good missile launcher is.
