I find her legs very attractive in spite of the fact that my favorite is two unequally long, short. thin polio legs in braces and a built up shoe on the shorter leg. Is she perhaps getting longerΒ legs in the future?

I expect when she returns to the US she will learn to use full length prosthetics. But as long as she is in the field, these pylons are sturdier and more useful for her.

Yes it is. I categorize my artwork as photomanipulations -- essentially collages of images from a variety of sources. Many people seem to enjoy them. If you don't enjoy them, I'm sure you can find images more to your taste elsewhere.

Yeah, DAK'S are godddesses, like all amputees. My favorites are the quads and daks.

Not very tall at all, I'm afraid. They really aren't much more than stubbies, and they haven't got knee joints. Maybe she'll get some more sophisticated limbs if she goes back to the States, but while she's still in the war zone, something sturdy like this is probably more practical. It's going to be a long and difficult adjustment for her.
