Legends tell that only the hard path leads to a goal worthy to arrive at.
And that the Sphinx holds godlike powers itself - like a Djinn, able to overthrow reality at a whim.
It is not just a wierd creature that can rip someone to shreds like a Lion and is in fact much more.

Those who may die at the Claws or godlike Spells of a Sphinx carried dreams within them worthy to risk their lifes for.
Live for nothing, or die for something.

And dying we will anyway.

Hi Heliofob

I work at a small publishing company called The English Experience, based in South Africa. We specialise in publishing English textbooks for high school students. We are currently working on a new resource, entitled ‘The Complete Life Orientation Resource’ and we would love to use this image in it. Please contact me if you are willing to let us use it. You can check out our website www.englishexperience.co.za if you would like to know more about us and what we do. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Ooohhh yyeeeaaaaahhh!!!
But the Sphinx would have never left the corpses to lie and rot, cats do not tolerate the smell of rotten.

The sphinx is beautiful and assuming - a stark contrast to the corpses hanging from the rocks around her. Oedipus' garb (or lack there of?) is very appropriate and certainly sets the image in a specific era.

The background is both lovely and effective - the details of the ground and stone is mind blowing, and the hard work and attention you paid to this image have really paid off.
