The color and the shape of the tree is unreal!! Scenery isn't typically my thing but this is really gorgeous.

Do the colors come out of the camera like that once you pull the hot mirror, or does it take an extra processing step.

But in short, yes some processing is required, but the processing is half the fun.

And most of that processing it looks like is on the raw, which needs processing to be useful in the first place. I'm guessing there's still no real selective edits, just operations on the whole of image data. At least that's how the rules work in my game of photography (if I wanted to draw I wouldn't bring a camera).

It's sort of a philosophical thing. I like to laugh at the idiots who go on about this or that being cheating in an artistic medium. Yes I do things a certain way myself, but I find the idea of holding someone to my own arbitrary rules ridiculous.

I like the colours of this picture, but in the other hand, i really don't like it... i just don't think that it fits in itself... it's not as natural, as a tree of this kind would be.
