Description
GOJIRABy Erik Cornell
Character owned by TOHO
My take on Godzilla places him in a Japanese animated feature. Unlike most similar ideas, the film wouldn't be a childish PokΓ©mon esque experience, nor would it be a trippy Evangelion style movie. I would compare it to the Full Metal Alchemist film, mature and serious, but not too over the top. That being said, my take on the Big G portrays a mix of the uniqueness of the Godzilla 2000 design with the life like qualities of the numerous American designs (Stout, Delgado, Winston, and Tatopolous.)
Design wise, this Godzilla is very slim when compared to the mainstream designs; think a more organic, flexible version of the Final Wars design. However, it is not frail looking like the Tatopolous design; though slim, the design still has quite a bit of muscle, giving it an impression of both speed and power. The legs are muscular digitigrades.
I also beefed up the tail and dorsal spines. The back plates are dark purple and are aligned in a fashion similar to GINO, having the outer shoulder spines as the largest. The tail is gnarly and flattened, similar to Deviljho from the Monster Hunter franchise and is held just barely off the ground while still retaining a humanoid posture, similar to the Atari Godzillas.
The head and neck are similar to a "Retrosaur" in structure; the neck having a slight "S" shaped arch. The head has a blunted snout filled with needle like teeth and fangs similar to the original Gojira. The eyes are reptilian and dark orange in color, as well as having dark skin around them. Above them rest a pair of short "brow horns" similar to those of the theropod dinosaurs. The classic ears are returning, albeit less mammalian. These ears are very small and bony, similar to the one seen on the Winston design. Godzilla's lower jaw is covered in spike like scales, almost like a "beard".
The monster's skin is very spiky and scaly, being dark green in color. This green hue matches well with the purple back spines. Godzilla possesses a crocodilian underbelly composed of black plates. The pectoral muscles still retain their dark green color, but the breast bone is plated. Godzilla's atomic breath is a phosphorescent, smoky blue flame.

Thanks
Pokemon (namely the anime) is very kiddy and light hearted. Evangelion was very dark, but also very trippy having lots of psychological and religious elements, as well as a lot of "WTF" moments.
My take on Godzilla feels more like an intelligent action movie ala the Nolan Batman films. The series I imagined is on the same level of violence as Godzilla vs. Gigan or Godzilla vs. Biollante.

Any specific things about the Godzilla design you like?
Also, I altered Ba'al's story a bit. He is awakened/summoned by a religious cult who find his amulet at the World's Fair in Osaka. They plan to rule the world and their first plan is to use Ba'al to kill Godzilla as a show of force to the rest of the world. The first fight between Godzilla and Ba'al occurs in Osaka while the final one takes place on a snowy island where Ba'al's power source is.

I really enjoyed the new story, is really very good. I think it would be cool if Godzilla was too brutally (to kill a demon is to be), the rest is totally AWESOME !!!

Had another enemy concept.
I have a new monster with the placeholder name of "Hanga/Hunger". This is Gojira's first enemy in a trilogy I have planned. The monsters were mutated by a bio missile. The missile works my combining to ionized organic compounds, making a huge explosion. The weapon was used in a terrorist attack off Japan by the North Koreans. Half way through the blast, the two chemical compounds seperated and were absorbed into two different areas. One of them is absorbed by Gojira and one is absorbed by Hunger.
Design wise, Hunger is a mutant dinosaur with inflamed red skin. He is covered with tumors and spikes. He has a more top heavy, hunched stance than Gojira and has a bony tail covered in paralyzing needles. His face is inspired by GINO.
I imagine him to look kind of like this:

Removed the paralysis angle, the tail is whip like and covered in thorn like spines. I imagine Hunger having an orange breath weapon.

Yeah, I imagine the enemy absorbed by Godzilla being blue and Hanga's energy being orange.
