This piece was commissioned to be given as a baby shower gift.Blade is 13 1/2 inches
Steel is 5160
Handle is a wood core with a pigskin leather wrap.
Blade, quillions and pommel are hand forged.

Someone commissioned it for the baby. The mother, the one who ordered it and myself are all old friends who met working the renaissance festival here in Arizona, so baby Gordons mom got to open a gift with his first little pirate sword for him at the baby shower.

Cool it look's great love the design and the way the bladesmith forged the blade and everything on the sword it's a true masterpiece.

This is a dieing art i am in training to become a black/bladesmith, i love it blacksmithing and wood working are both so relaxing.
This summer i will be working with some new belt sanders,
and i have not forged a sword yet but i have forged 4 knife's.
