It is really hard for me to believe that vikings polished the crap out of their axes, as often seen on reproductions. I believe they were just as lazy as me, and leaved the axes with forge finish. It's primary a tool, not a real weapon

Yeah, it would take a lot of hours to have that nice polish
I prefer the " rough " look
But that still looks amazing ^^
