Description
I forged this one from spring steel, its handle is oak with wrought iron pins and fittings.I wanted it to look as orcish as possible, coming directly from Grom Hellscreams forge

If you were trying to make it look orcish, I'd say you succeeded big time.

I like. Normally I would say this style of sword is too elegant a shape for an Orc, but you managed to tip it toward ruthless pragmatism. Maybe an orc who reads poetry in secret.

Thank you
Hmm... an orc with an artistic soul, reading poetry?! How unusual that might be

Yes Slizard, it was a while ago. Whoever it was who original bought it off you was thinning out their collection, or needed funds, or something, so it was in the classifieds on britishblades for a while last year or the year before. I just meant that I regret not having the funds at the time.

Hmm... interesting
I wonder sometimes what "life" does my stuff have after leaving my shop. I know very little about them.

I can understand that curiosity. Do you not hear much from your customers, about the blades they've bought?

Nice work, and i like the chain finger guard. Not quite sure if I would call it orcish, it needs that quenched in blood and handle wrapped in the skins of enemies look to be truly orcish. A very nice blade tho, I would take on zombies with it.

well at this time im short of free spending money so not probably for a while though i am concerned about importing it into Australia. not sure if it will get through customs, but i suppose if its declared as a ornamental collectible then it should be ok. what is u'r experience with this?

hellize In reply to JecBro [2013-07-31 06:45:03 +0000 UTC]
Oh ok, I understand
Your country's customs laws permit the shipping of single edged weapons, regardless of the size! I have sent very large choppers (above 60 cm) with no problem in the past to Australia.
Double edged steels, like daggers or double edged swords are prohibited, for some reason.
BUT, double edged weapons with one false edge are also allowed interesting isn't it?
