At the dawn of human consciousness, when civilization as we know it today, was merely a dream, savagery and ruthlessness were the only means of survival. In those times strength and blood meant everything. These were the standards of which a man was placed in the hierarchy of its tribe. Nothing else mattered, since the tribe was the center of the world. There was no life outside this large family. Those weren't the time for lone wolves. Only the "pack", only the numbers could offer relative protection in this primitive world.
Throughout the world, headhunting came to practice, so one could prove its success in battle. The more trophies you had, the better warrior you were. Simple as that.
And as the "fashion" spread, dedicated tools have risen from the tribal workshops, with the sole purpose to mutilate the fallen enemy. First they had sharpened stone blades, than copper, than bronze, than iron and finally steel

So we arrived to this little 33 cm long baby with a 18 cm long and 5 mm thick hand forged damascus blade, hammered from L6 and 1.2516. The handle is buffalo horn, bone and leather.
Its sheath is made of leather and bone.
