Забавно насколько сильно лого нового Elder Scrolls Skyrim похоже на ваш Windhall Empire.

Ух-ты! обожаю карты... очень красиво и немного похоже на Тамриель )
хорошо бы добавить каких-нибудь мифических зверушек, как обычно на картах рисовали

Wow...
it looks very nice.
Красиво сделано, будто старые карты читаешь, экое средневековье

I like the visual style! My only complaint is that the colours used for distinguishing provinces looks out of place beside the crisp, even style of the lines.
What was your process for creating this? I've been meaning to put together a detailed map of my own fantasy world, but I've been having trouble putting together anything consistent or believable.

I love maps. How did you do the old paper detail at the borders?

Pretty dang snazzy. :3 It did look a bit of France to me.
I've tried to make maps before but I tend to go over board. XD

It's a beautiful map, altho Windhall appears to have a urinary tract, and Lakeland a fully functional female reproductive system!

I like it a lot :3 But I think you forgot to put a little measure-distance-thingy on it. I'd like to know how big this empire is!

i love your work... but there are a lot of issues with the rivers.
if you are interested in representing how water flows from higher elevations to lower elevations, they usually follow the path of least resistance - making them almost never split off once they start flowing downhill to the ocean. instead they often join together -- making a river system look like a tree... with the branches (streams) being in the upper mountainous area, and the trunk (main river) hitting the ocean.
but that is only if you are concerned with how rivers might flow...
take care and keep creating!

Yeah, I guess you need to know a lot about earth sciences before attempting an accurate map.
I don't know much about that stuff so if I was looking at something like this for reference to a fictional world, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

i started making maps and had no clue... still learning i guess. but i found a great resource www.cartographersguild.com
amazing work and tutorials on there... with your foundation of making kick ass images and a bit of suggestions from some of the very polite and encouraging pro's there, i could see you getting more commissions for map work easy.
be well,
phil

eh you're not the only one
when i look back to the one in LoTR i keep wondering, should i make mine traditionally (i made one once in around A2 size major pain)
or should i go traditionally, either way i should get it going since the first book is done

Looks a bit like France - the Xarcor Empire is Spain and the Great Wastes is Italy
