Description
Because of too much work and other issues, I haven’t had as much time as I wanted to paint personal pieces lately, and this is the result of that. I’ve been working on this on and off for about 2 months, which is not how I usually work at all. I felt that I lost the connection with this piece so I just decided to finish it before ruining it further
Again, another Call of Cthuhlhu inspired piece, and the guy is kind of a portrait of myself. Don’t ask why :-P
Painted using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. Reference used for the character.

No, they didn't. I was commenting on the fact that FantasyFlight Games used it. Until I stumbled across this page, I assumed that they had one of their in-house artists draw it. I was congratulating you on your art being good enough to be used in a semi-official capacity by a gaming company.

Amazing work! It's almost photo-realistic with that nice painterly feel to it, and I love the way you rendered the gooey flesh dripping from the tentacle. This makes me think of the Dunwich Horror for some reason

Besides the cool concept this looks so photorealistic you can really get disgusted by the monster's slimy guts. And you really know how to paint yourself
