I’d been on some long-hour days for most of this month, and that finally caught up with me last weekend – sleeping off most of four days.
Was feeling a bit rusty, decided to warm-up in Photoshop, and I really enjoyed ~dawnbest ’s original Sonic comics – so I grabbed the line-art to page 10 of her Ruby comic ([link] ) and had some fun. 
Meant to be a one-panel color warm-up. But obviously… Things went a bit far. I was really enjoyin’ m’self.

I'll never get to your level in PS man. But seeing yours and others great art helps me improve my own. XD Yup I'm whoring it up all the skills. XD This really brings her kickass art to life, and whatever tpye of extra shading you did, works wonders. ^^

Yeah Dawn did fantastic work for the archie sonic comic on her first issue (freedom fighters of the universe part 2?) you could really see the difference between the work the guy did in part one.

I lik ethat you have Ruby as a different shade of red, I always got annoyed when the comic would cop out and color all echidnas one color

Damn, i was hoping to see your art in person. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains so its not that far away from me. Well i dont think ill be able to make dallas, so i hope to see ya there next year

Thanks! I've done tutorials before - but I guess they're a bit out-of-date by now (the last one is almost exactly one year old, now). I might do a new one, when time allows ^^
