Because I already posted the lineart... I'm trying to put this together as quick as possible so I can throw it into a portfolio... Page 9 and 10 work better together than on their own... and you've been such a great audience, here's page 10 and a doubleshot of comic.Lucy's got some 'splainin' to do.

Your comic is very interesting. Ruby looks a lot like Juli-Sue, too, is that where you got the idea? BTW, she's an awesome fan character and your style looks just like the US comics.

This is possibly the most gorgeous page so far out of a series of gorgeous pages. I LOVE the colours on this one so much, it's so subtle and clever the way you've gradually changed the colour of the sky as the day has progressed. The colouring on the characters looks almost too good for a comic, with your usual beautiful style and tones. The composition is brilliant, too, with a sense of the vastness of the island, and yet with no lack of interesting focul points. The translucent speech bubbles work so well, and are a great idea. You manage to make them look so professional. It's nice the way your detailling doesn't diminish with the distance of the characters, either, with mini-Knuckles and Ruby. Talking of Ruby, her design is so pretty. I can't wait for the last two pages of such a wonderful comic!

Man, if I were Knux...I'd just drop her and let her fall to her doom. She threatened the Chaotix (my fave Sonic characters, btw)...if anyone threatened my friends, they'd have to answer to me!

Acually i wanted to ask do you have the a theroy why all the male echindas(sonic adventure referance) have spiked gloves and the females?im not going to go with the archie verson because i dont follow there comics.

Haha, I seem to remember that now. But I'm going to say that Knuckles' traits are his own, being his namesake. So, should other male echidnas show up, they wouldn't have the same kind of assets. Same with gliding being a Knuckles-only thing. Makes the canon more interesting -- Consider Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles being the big three of the Sonic world, if every hedgehog was fast, every fox had two tails and flew and every echidna had knuckle claws and could glide, I'd be bored to tears writing stuff that makes the characters stand out as special against the secondary ones.

I've always thought your pages, in Archie, were very good, and you've just proved me you're a great artist.
Those pages are wonderful. You have a great choice of angles, the characters are ON-models, the colors are catchy...that's why I'm faving.

wow! i'm amazed at how you put these together so quickly. tell me how do you make these typs of comics? do you start with seveal pictures and paste them together or do you just have the sheet already done and just color it? i've been wanting to start a comic based on my own character but have been somewhat reluctant to start it.

All done on a standard 8.5x11 inch sheet of carstock. I pre-aligned some blue borders and printed them out, then copied them. It makes the borders consistent, and setting such a border gets me more interested in doing the comic, as my panel lines are all but set up thereafter. It's a big pain in the neck, for me at least, to screw with panels.
