I've been seeing a lot of drawings and fan-art circulating around deviantart of supposed 'warrior cats'.
I'm sorry but there is a LOT of room for improvement on most people's cat anatomy, myself included
People! You can do it! Strive to be better!
Whenever you're drawing a cat, use a reference!
Go out there and find pictures of REAL cats and draw from them!
That is the BEST way to improve your artwork.
ANYONE can learn to draw. It just takes practice, practice practice.
I don't believe anyone is born more talented and able to draw than anyone else in the world. Its just a case that some people have more of a drive from the start to learn how to draw from a young age and those are the people who come further ahead faster.
But its not to late to start learning! Its never too late! Everytime you draw anything you improve. Learn how to see things and draw them as they appear in life. And once you can do that, then you can start to make cartoons convincingly

How do I model real cats I don't have. A cat but I'd really like to draw warriors cats!

Use pictures from the internet, or even just get a couple books on cats and use the pictures from there. I have two cats, but they NEVER stay still long enough to reference from, or even to take a decent picture, unless they're asleep.

I do want to be, well, of course, better at drawing cats.
But I really like my style at the moment, I feel like adding realism into it would kind of... ruin it. Should I try to stick to actual cat anatomy, while still maintaining my style? Or is this impossible? ;n;

Generally, my advice would be to learn realism, so you can then stylize with an actual knowledge of how things work, which is incredibly useful for poses.Β
