Description

It was another day of adventure for Bell Cranel and his party, travelling around the Dungeon, but this wasn’t a regular adventure, it was a serious situation. Their goddess Hestia had been kidnapped by another family and they were holding her hostage in the Dungeon. Without hesitation, all the members of the Hestia Family went to rescue her. They got to the meeting point, a cliff over an abyss. They saw the kidnappers holding the goddess. She was unconscious, so she could not use any of her divine powers to escape.

Bell and his friends engaged on a battle with their new enemies, and quickly got the upper hand. When one of the kidnappers saw all his companions be defeated, he quickly grabbed Hestia and threw her into the abyss. Bell, almost as a reflex, ran and jumped into the abyss, while at the same time his friend Lili threw a rope to him.

Bell was able to reach Hestia at the same time the rope reached him. He held his goddess in one arm and grabbed the rope with the other. The fall suddenly stopped as he felt the full whiplash in his arm holding the rope; it was painful, but it was worth it. Bell had made sure to hold Hestia in a way she wouldn't be hurt by the sudden stop. He gave a quick look to the goddess, she had her eyes closed and had no reaction, but she was still breathing. Bell tried calling for her, but there was no response; she was without any external injuries, so they probably drugged her to keep her asleep. The only thing he noticed was that she was barefoot; Bell gave a quick look to the abyss and saw her sandals falling, they probably because of the sudden stop. There was no sign of the bottom, so ff they fell into that abyss, it was a certain death.

He held his goddess tightly and looked upwards as his friends pull them out of the abyss. His arm hurt, but for his dear goddess Hestia, it was nothing. He promised he would protect her no matter what.
