Description

It had been a rough day for the Avalanche group. That day they infiltrated the Shinra Corporation´s headquarters to save their friend Aerith, who was captured. A lot of things happened in that journey, like meeting a talking animal, fighting monsters and soldiers, and climbing a lot of stairs. They even got captured but were able to escape after Sephiroth caused a massacre in the building. On their way out, Cloud Strife stayed behind to fight the new president, Rufus Shinra, while the rest escaped. Worried about her childhood friend, Tifa Lockhart stopped to wait for Cloud while the rest continued their way to the exit.

While she was waiting for her friend, Tifa heard steps approaching, but there were to many to be Cloud´s, so she immediately got ready to fight. Various Shinra guards came in, saw Tifa, and recognized her as enemy. Tifa did not wasted any time and started fighting all the guards. With her martial arts and strength, she was able to defeat them, or so she thought. After so many battles that day, and climbing so many stairs, Tifa was no longer the best condition, and perhaps that is why she failed to react to a guard sneaking up on her. Instead of shotting her, the guard used his gun to hit Tifa in the base of the neck. The girl felt the blow, but she fell to the floor as everything went black.

“I’m sorry, Cloud…” She thought right before passing out.

The guard felt relief as he was able to take down the terrorists who beat up all of his companions. He was ready to take Tifa to a cell, but someone stopped him. He saw a man in a lab coat approaching him, it was Professor Hojo, the most important scientist in the Shinra Corporation. The guard reported that the girl was a terrorist from Avalanche, so she had to be locked up, but the scientist gave him a different order.

“Take the girl and come with me. We are taking her somewhere else.”

The guard did not understand what was going on, but he knew disobeying Hojo would bring consequences that he did
not want to deal with. He carried the unconscious Tifa over his shoulder and followed the scientist. Hojo took the guard to a laboratory with a lot of equipment, including various empty tanks. It was a backup lab for Hojo, since the main one had been ruined by the terrorists. Hojo pressed some buttons in a computer and one of the tanks opened.

Hojo ordered the guard to place Tifa inside the open tank but not before taking of her boots and tights. The guard did not understand why but there was probably a scientific reason for that, so he obeyed. After that, he placed the girl on the tank and Hojo closed it with the press of a button. Hojo then ordered the guard to leave and to not tell anyone about the girl, or else. The guard was confused but he obeyed and left.

Now alone with his new subject, Hojo turned on the tank and saw how it started to fill with a glowing liquid. In less than a minute the tank was completely filled with Tifa floating peacefully in the middle. Hojo could not help but to smile at the sight of the sleeping girl. The tank would keep her in a continuous state of unconsciousness. No matter how strong she was, in that state she was just a helpless sleeping beauty.

“Sleep well until I return, my precious subject”

She may not be the Cetra girl, but she was certainly a fine compensation. He wanted to keep her a secret because the new president would probably just execute her or use her as a hostage. Hojo wanted her as a compensation for all the problems that happened today.

What to do with her? Hojo did not know yet. He would decide after the commotion in the Shinra Corporation calmed down a bit. Whatever the mad scientist decides, it will certainly not be good for Tifa. For now, Hojo left the room leaving the sleeping Tifa waiting for an uncertain future.
