There was someone I was talking to ah... over notes, I think, who mentioned something about drawing some anthros bees. Anthro bees! I love bees! So I thought I'd try out one of my own. Balancing the bee aspects and the human aspects while trying to create an even vaguely attractive creature was difficult. The result is ah... interesting.... and the consequential noselessness bears an unintentional resemblance to the artwork of a certain snogger. Sorry, man.This kind of style is like a pink feather boa: fun to try on for a minute or two, but definitely not something I'd want to wear all the time. If I ever try an anthro bee again, I'll likely ditch the anime-esque look and go more for purely alien and freakish, a real mix instead of something so toony.
It deviates from my usual style a good deal, and leaves me somewhat unsatisfied, but that's what experiments are about. It's very poppy and mod, where as I am not. And also very warm in color, which I usually don't do.
Anyway, I realize it looks strange. Man, it's hard mixing insects and people XD

I think you did alright, I've suffered the same problem sometimes when I mix pokemon and people out of boredom, you would not believe how many ugly pokemon are out there! It's jobs like these that people like us were born for! (making ugly things look pretty

Nosepass for example, for one thing, it has a nose. I gigantic nose. And of course noses are things I like to pretend don't exist, that's why I watch anime, to watch pretty people with teeny noses never go to the restroom. Yeah sure some people like to draw ugly things, like drawing the person they hate with pimples and fat and drooling and stuff. But I personally prefer drawing the people I get mad at in anime form being strangled or tortured by one of my charcters or something.

Anthro insects are fun, if only because they offer something unusual to interpret and adapt. The colouring here is quite lovely - it's varied and pretty while being subtle. Cute design on the pants, and I like the flowers in the foreground. Nifty stuff.
